Campus Memorialization Update

Later this month, members of the Baskervill design team will be on campus to share conceptual themes for the memorial, which will remember and honor the humanity of the enslaved men, women, and children who worked for or were sold to benefit the University.

Baskervill’s presentations will include early conceptual ideas and gather feedback from attendees. Please consider participating in one of the presentations to learn more about the next phase of Campus Memorialization. Learn more here.

Update on the Campus Climate Survey and next steps

Thank you for the remarkable contributions you have made to our community by participating in the Belonging and Inclusion Campus Evaluation survey.

Because of your commitment to sharing your experiences, we were able to achieve strong response rates, including: 28% participation from students, 50% from faculty, and 68% from staff. Now that the survey has closed, we want to share next steps as we aim to use analysis of these findings to increase Wake Foresters’ access to all that Wake Forest has to offer.
